GERMAN WASP

The scientific name of this wasp is VESPULA GERMANICA. It is the best predator insect to control garden pests.

I saw them active from spring until winter started. In our garden I see them eating nectar from the flowers, eating our fruits, also our cat’s food and of course other garden pests. Generally, it eats everythings.

Although they are very useful for gardens, I keep an eye on them to make sure they do not build their nest in our garden. It is important because I do not want this necessary predator to become a pest for us.
